CRAZY KART
1:53 PM
A lot of new players are joing the CK community everyday.Of course, there were no manuals or game guides for this game. Besides, Crazy Kart is simple to control, easy to learn… but mastery and being a winner is an entirely different thing.

Join me as I share with you my notes on how to win races and how to simple fundamental “tricks” can take you to the winner’s podium every race.

Crazy Kart Strategy Tips and Tricks (by GM Tristan)

1. Master the drift - Drifting will mean crucial milliseconds which can spell the difference in winning or losing. Master the drift during the turns. There will be maps (like Tribal) where you NEED to drift, otherwise, you’ll be eating dust.
2. Master the maps - Take your time getting familiar with ALL the maps. You will find some “drift spots” along the way. Also, making the perfect turn can save you precious seconds. A good way to do this is to race alone and just practice, trying to beat your own time. You can also schedule practice speed runs with some friends. No powerups here. The goal is for you to master both standard and the mirror (reverse) versions of the map.
3. Save the Star - the “star” allows you to be immune. In the final lap, you should be saving this if you’re first or in the top 3. But the timing here is crucial. When your friends blast you with a rocket, you’ll see a rocket icon just behind your kart’s rear. Gauge his distance, spring the Star and you’re scott free! If you have the star during the initial rounds, you can just use when you’re about to hit either a banana or (my most hated obstacle), the CONFUSION ORANGE… damn, I HATE that one!
4. Buy the 2X Cards and the Pili-Pili - the 2X cards will mean better EXP and gold, which in turn, will mean better cars and accessories. The more expensive the Kart is, generally, the more faster it is. Meanwhile, the key to advanced Karting is the Pili-Pili (or item switch card). The Pili-Pili can make you switch your 2 power-ups during the race. Normally, you can only do this once per race. But with that power, you’re more flexible when it comes to offense or defense. Trust me, it makes a lot of difference.
5. Karts - Try experementing with some Karts. My favorites are the Rover and the Beetle. You might notice that some cars are “heavier” when it comes to turning or drifting. If you change Karts often, you’ll know what I mean.
6. The final dash - The most crucial part of the race is the final dash: the last few meters before the finish line. Most of the time, your opponents will be “saving” their rockets or UFOs to use against you. If you’re first, try to save on your stars. Hitting them at the right moment will mean certain victory.
7. Don’t be first - This doesn’t mean that I want you to finish always second. What I mean is that the game’s power-ups, like the rocket will usually target the leader BY DEFAULT. Being second will lessen your chance of impact. But keep a safe distance. When the others pounce on the leader, grab the lead, prepare your star and zoom to victory.
